Instagram monthly round up

Can you believe it is the last day of February? Scary in terms of time going so quick, but exciting that Spring is on its way! February has been a month of highs and lows for me. Highs because I was at *home* in Melbourne seeing friends and family. My two babies were able to meet everyone including their Grandad and Uncle for the first time. The lows were coming back to England (in the nicest possible way). I love living here, but since having children it is so hard being away from family and friends. Luckily I have some AWESOME friends over here and my husband has a supportive family, so win win on that front.

Our Glassware Collection is Growing…

Did you know that we also hire out our glassware? Our collection is growing by the month and I have also got my eye on some new pieces that are honestly AMAZING! Around the house I have vases, props and glassware scattered everywhere! Here is a little snapshot of some of the pieces we have available. With mothers day and my birthday coming up I have added a few more items to my wish list. Fingers crossed!

A little post about the art of biscuit making….

As some of you may know late last year I did a biscuit icing class which was soo much fun, but a lot more challenging than I expected too!

I recently ordered some gorgeous balloon biscuits from Biscuit Village for a clients party which not only looked amazing tasted fab too. Unfortunately not many of my clients go down the iced biscuit route due to the expense. I can understand this, but when you find out how many hours and love go into making these biscuits you can understand why. So in my opinion it is worth it as a treat every now and then and it can really give your party the edge. I can guarantee all the guests at my clients balloon party raved about the biscuits. And how cute do they look?

We were lucky enough to be featured in the December / January edition of ‘Your Surrey Wedding‘ and what an amazing magazine to be featured in! The article ‘Sweet Inspiration ~ Delectable cake designs’ showcased some amazing cakes and desserts by some truly talented people. We were commenting on the new trend of dessert tables. I am in love with the front cover too!
