Confetti & Pink Styled Shoot

Late last year I was asked to provide some of our products for a styled shoot. When I heard the theme was confetti there was no need to convince me any further. As a bit of a confetti lover myself (sort of goes with the job…) I was intrigued to see the end results.

Charlotte Garret, designer and stylist super wizz organised the shoot with a wealth of other fab suppliers including EFC Photography who took all the gorgeous shots. Below are a few photos of some of our products including cake stands, tassel garlands and sugar swizzle sticks.

A little post about the art of biscuit making….

As some of you may know late last year I did a biscuit icing class which was soo much fun, but a lot more challenging than I expected too!

I recently ordered some gorgeous balloon biscuits from Biscuit Village for a clients party which not only looked amazing tasted fab too. Unfortunately not many of my clients go down the iced biscuit route due to the expense. I can understand this, but when you find out how many hours and love go into making these biscuits you can understand why. So in my opinion it is worth it as a treat every now and then and it can really give your party the edge. I can guarantee all the guests at my clients balloon party raved about the biscuits. And how cute do they look?


Biscuit Icing Workshop

I had the pleasure of attending the ‘I made it myself‘ biscuit icing workshop on Sunday. The very talented Hyun-Young Shin from Biscuit Village designed a woodland collection for us to decorate.Look at her biscuits below, isn’t she talented??!

I made it myself offer a collection of workshops from jewellery making to beauty product making. The Biscuit icing workshop was right up my alley being such a sweet tooth! I had roped in a friend to come along and voila we found ourselves at the Crown & Archer pub in Chiswick on a sunny October Sunday afternoon.

Hyun gave us an insight into the creative world of biscuit icing and design, and let me tell you it is not as easy as it looks! Even the flattering filter of Instragram cannot hide all the flaws of my biscuits so I will not be showing you them here!


Hyun always bakes her biscuits fresh on the morning and when you walked in the room you could actually smell the sweet scent of biscuits which was amazing! I was seriously tempted to take a little nibble before it had been iced, but managed to restrain myself. As part of of afternoon we were lucky enough to be treated to the BEST cake and tea in vintage cups
